Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation is underway following a cash in transit robbery this morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after a security gaurd was approved by a man armed with a gun on Taney Road, in Dundrum at approximately 10.35am.
Gardaí say the man fled the scene in a white van with a cash box which contained a sum of money.
It is understood that no one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
