GardaĂ in Dublin have begun an investigation following a car hijacking over the weekend.
The investigation comes after a woman in her 20s was asked to get out of her car after being followed home by a man.
Although Gardai later recovered the vehicle they have confirmed an investigation is currently underway.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the Lehaunstown Lane area of Foxrock at approximately 1.30am on Saturday morning.
