Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation following an incident with a patrol van earlier this week.
According to RTÉ News, the investigation comes after Gardai grew suspicious of a car in Buttercup Park in Darndale on Thursday night.
It is believed that two indentations were left on the van following a loud bang, possibly from a gunshot fired at the garda vehicle.
Thankfully no Gardaí were injured in the incident, however a forensic examination of the van is being carried out.
