Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 30s was hospitalised following a shooting incident on Sunday.
It is understood the investigation comes after the suffered pellet wounds to his legs following the incident which occurred on Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, at approximately 6:20pm.
Although the man was taken to Tallaght Hospital, Gardai say his injuries are not life-threatening.
