Gardaí in Co Meath have begun an investigation following a fire at a house in Kentstown earlier this week.
It is understood that Gardaí suspect foul play after the house in Slan Duff View estate, sustained major damage following the fire on Monday.
Gardaí say they believe that the fire may have been the result of an arson attack and they are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between the hours of 4am and 7am to come forward and contact them.
Thankfully Gardaí say no one was injured in the incident.
