Garda gets left with very serious leg injuries after getting knocked down by stolen motorbike




A Garda has sustained serious leg injuries after being hit by a stolen motorcycle in Dublin, reports Breaking News.

The incident occurred around 5.45pm on Wednesday in the Finglas area.

The officer, aged in his 30s, was struck by the motorbike as it sped away from a petrol station located on the North Road, reports Breaking News.

He was brought to the Mater Hospital, where he is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being held at a Garda station in West Dublin, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí are urging any witnesses to come forward with information.
