Gardai have altered two checkpoints in the capital after causing major chaos on the first day of Level 3 lockdown.
The checkpoints affected were set up at Junction 6 on the N7, and at Junction 2 at the M2.
The positioning and timing of these checkpoints caused 8km-long tailbacks, which led to frustration and anger and had no impact whatsoever on the coronavirus crisis.
