Gardaí in Dublin have appealed for information after a man aged in his 20s was attacked over the weekend.
It is understood the man sustained serious head injuries after he was assaulted on Aston Quay and Westmoreland Street, at approximately 3:50am Saturday morning.
Gardaí say the man was taken to St James’s Hospital following the attack.
They also say the attacker who was shirtless is believed to have travelled across O’Connell Bridge, before turning towards Bachelors Walk and proceeding towards Bachelors Way.
