Gardai appeal for witnesses after taxi driver suffers serious eye injuries during altercation with a passenger




Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver sustained serious eye injuries when a disruptive passenger slammed the vehicle’s door on his face.

The incident happened across from the Allied Irish Bank building on Baggot St., Dublin, on December 18.

The passenger in question slammed the taxi’s door on the driver’s face, causing serious injury.

The suspect is described as being 25-30 years of age, 5’7” to 5’8” in height, with short hair. He spoke in a Dublin accent.
