Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run in Co Kildare which has left a man in his 30s in hospital.
The incident is believed to have happened at 12.05am this morning outside Johnstown Garden Centre, Kerdiffstown Road, just off the N7 at Johnstown, Co. Kildare.
Gardaí arrived at the scene where they found a man in his 30s being treated by the ambulance services and he had received injuries to his body. The injured man was taken to Naas General Hospital and he has been subsequently transferred to Tallaght Hospital.
Gardaí investigating the incident .believe that the injured party was hit by a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Naas Garda Station on 045-884300.
