Gardai have arrested a man in his 20s after a woman was pushed out of her car at knifepoint in Co. Cork.
The incident happened in Douglas village on Tuesday evening.
It is understood that a male approached a vehicle as it stopped at a traffic light. The raider brandished a knife and forced the female driver out of the car. He then ran off on foot and was quickly apprehended at a nearby park.
The woman was not physically injured but was left shaken.
Gardai are asking for witnesses to come forward.
