Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s was arrested and has been subsequently charged following a robbery at a shop on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood the man was arrested after he threatened staff at shop on Walkinstown Avenue in Walkinstown, at approximately 4:55pm.
Gardaí say the man who was armed with a knife threatened staff before fleeing the scene with a quantity of cash.
He was later arrested and taken to Crumlin Garda Station.
