Gardai in Dublin have arrested a man after a woman aged in her 70s was allegedly assaulted on Monday evening.
According to RTE News, the woman sustained injuries to her face following an incident on Ava Maria Road.
It is understood that a man also aged in his 70s was arrested at the scene and has since been taken to Kevin Street Garda Station for questioning.
Gardai say an investigation is currently ongoing.
