Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed they have arrested a man following an armed robbery in Finglas.

Gardaí say they arrested the man aged in his 40s, after they discovered him with a crowbar, after being altered to a to a robbery at a shop in the Hampton Wood area at approximately 7.30am.
The man was arrested at the scene following a brief struggle with Gardaí.
Thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
