Gardai in Co Tipperary have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run incident over the weekend.
The man’s arrest comes after a 60 year old man was killed following a collision on the N7 at Ballyhiskey, Carrigatoher, Nenagh, at approximately 1pm on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood that the arrested man failed to remain at the scene of the collision.
Gardai say the man aged in his 30s was taken to Nenagh Garda Station.
