Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that they have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a woman in Dublin.
The arrest comes after a woman was shot in Shangan Park, Ballymun, on Sunday afternoon.
It is understood that the woman sustained a head injury, but her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Gardai say the man was arrested on Sunday evening and was taken to Ballymun Garda Station for questioning.
