A motorist was arrested after he was on suspicion of drink driving after Gardai discovered that they were driving with an open can of beer beside him.
The incident which occurred in Co Longford was posted on Twitter by Garda traffic who said the following: “Longford RPU: Driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving also no insurance, no NCT, no tax.
“Driver arrested and court appearance to follow.”
It is that the motorist was also found to have a pack of unopened beer beside them, whilst they were also found to have no insurance, NCT or tax.
