Gardai have arrested six people as part of the ongoing Operation Thor, which targets burglary and theft crimes nationwide.
It is understood that those arrested lived in the West Cork area.
Operation Thor has been in effect for a number of months, after it was set up to combat a spate of burglaries and thefts across the country.
