Gardaí in Co Laois have arrested three people following seizure of €555,000 worth of illegal on Wednesday.
It is understood the arrests come after Gardai seized cannabis worth €500,000 and cocaine worth €35,000 in the Rossvale area of Portlaoise.
Meanwhile €20,000 worth of cannabis was also seized in the Rossvale area.
Gardaí say a man and a woman aged in their 30s were arrested and were taken to Portlaoise Garda Station.
They added that another man aged in his 30s was arrested and taken to Birr Garda Station.
