Gardai in Limerick City have arrested a man and a woman following a stabbing incident on Friday.
It is the arrests come after a man aged in his 40s was stabbed at a house on Windmill Street, at approximately 4:30p.m.
Gardai say they have arrested a man aged in his 30s and a woman aged in her 20s in connection with the incident and they were taken to Henry Street Garda Station for questioning.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing
