Gardai in Cork have arrested two people in connection with an alleged assault.
It is understood that the arrests come after a man was injured following the attack which occurred last Friday.
Gardai say the man was attacked on Lower Glanmire Road, before he had his phone stolen.
They say two men aged in their 20s have been arrested and were taken to Mayfield Garda Station for questioning.
