Getting pricked? Over 1,000 pharmacies around the country sign up to administer the coronavirus vaccine from next week

Whether you’re getting the vaccine or not is up to you because they’re not mandatory but either way, they’re going to become a lot easier to get as pharmacies will start to administer them.

Over 1,000 pharmacies across Ireland will join a scheme to administer the coronavirus vaccine from next week.

It is understood that the pharmacies will use the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Only people aged 50 and over will be able to get their jab in a pharmacy.
