Gardai in Waterford have arrested two people in relation to possible links to international terrorism.
The pair, a man and a woman, are believed to be in their 20s.
A large amount of electronic material was seized at an address just off Waterford’s city center.
Today’s arrests come after a long surveillance operation conducted by Gardai and other security agencies. The operation focused on individuals who may have developed ties to international terrorist organizations while residing in Ireland.
