In what can only be described as a truly evil act, 20-yr-old Nicole Evans from Tasmania, Australia is fighting for her life after her 34-yr-old fiancé is said to have poured petrol over her and set the young woman on fire.
Nicole is said to be fighting for her life with severe burns to her face, hands and majority of her body as a result.
Matthew John Davey has already been in court over the act which is said to have happened Monday night in his apartment.
A hospital spokesman told Australian news site, News.com.au : “Nicole remains in a critical condition, there’s been no change.”
He said: “The dispute is being treated as a family violence incident, although there are no current family violence orders restricting the man and woman from being together.”
Davey pleaded not guilty to what’s being described as a “domestic incident” and will appear in court again on June 13th.
