Gardai attended the scene as a child was injured in a ‘violent incident’ in an Irish county.
The incident happened inside a property at Clareabbey, on the outskirts of Ennis, Co. Clare, earlier today.
It is understood that a female child sustained serious injuries and was rushed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
