Gardaí in Co Monaghan are treating a fire at a Garda Station over the weekend as an arson attack.
The investigation comes after extensive damage was caused to Emyvale Garda Station in the early hours of Monday morning.
Although thankfully no one was injured in the incident, Gardai say they believe that the fire may have been started deliberately.
They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between the hours of 3am and 5.30am to come forward and contact them at Monaghan Garda Station on 047-77200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111.
