Gardai in Co Galway have sadly confirmed that a 73 year old man has died in a farming accident on Tuesday.
It is understood the man sustained serious injuries whilst driving his tractor on a farm in Crannagh near Gort on Tuesday morning.
Gardai say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing, they also say the Health and Safety Authority have been informed about the incident.
