Gardaí in Dublin have sadly confirmed that an elderly woman who was seriously injured in a road traffic incident last Monday, has passed away.
The woman aged in her 70s sadly died in hospital after she sustained injuries when she was struck by a motorcycle after getting off a bus in Ballinteer, last Monday evening at approximately 7:45pm.
It is understood a man aged in his 30s sustained minor injury in the incident.
Gardaí say they are currently appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact them.
