A 6-year-old girl has died after sustaining a fatal gunshot to the head in Dallas, Georgia.
The girl, identified as Millie Drew Kelly, was in the car with her younger brother when the latter retrieved a loaded weapon from the glove compartment and accidentally shot Millie. The bullet struck the young girl in the head, killing her instantly.
It is understood that no charges will be filed in relation to the incident.
Local authorities have reiterated the importance of keeping guns unloaded and secure.
