Gardai confirm death of Drogheda woman is no longer deemed suspicious




Gardai in Drogheda launched an investigation yesterday into the death of a woman at a house in Co Louth town.

Emergency services called to the house at 5am Sunday morning and pronounced the woman, who is aged in her 60s,  dead in the house in the Aston Village area of the town.

A post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday afternoon at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and gardai have confirmed that they no longer deem the woman’s death as suspicious.
