Gardaí in Galway have sadly confirmed that a body recovered on a beach in the city has been identified to be that of missing man Robert Murray.
According to Galway Bay FM, Mr Murray’s body was found at Ballyloughane beach in Renmore, at around 8pm on Monday evening.
It is understood that his body has been taken to University Hospital Galway where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Robert, 25, was the subject of a nationwide appeal after he went missing Salthill on January 10th.
