Gardai continue with appeal for missing woman and her four children




Gardaí have issued an urgent missing persons appeal after a 30-year-old woman with her four children went missing in Roscommon County last week, reports The Mirror.

Martina Ward, 32, has not been home since Wednesday, June 28, and was last seen with her four children on Main Street in Swords yesterday, Wednesday, July 5.

Martina has four children under the age of six who are nicknamed “Carthy”.

The Gardaí investigating the condition of Martina and her four children have expressed concern and have now launched an appeal for anyone with information on their possible whereabouts to come forward.

A Garda spokesperson told The Irish Mirror: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Martina Ward (32 years) and her children Charlie Carthy (5 years), Edward Carthy (4 years), Tom Carthy (2 years) and Emily Carthy (10 months), who are missing from their home in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon since Wednesday 28th June, 2023. Martina and her children were last seen on Main Street, Swords on the afternoon of Wednesday 5th July, 2023,” reports The Mirror.

“An Garda Síochána have ongoing concerns for the well-being of Martina and her four children. Anyone with information on their whereabouts are asked to contact Balbriggan Garda Station on 01 802 0510, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station,” the spokesperson added, reports The Mirror.
