Holidaymakers heading to Spain over the coming days are being warned of temperatures exceeding 40C.
The hottest areas are expected to be around the south and southeast of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
Tuesday July 11th and Wednesday July 12th look like the peak days of the heatwave, though it’s likely to extend far beyond that date.
