Gardai have asked people not to share or forward on images and videos of the victim of yesterday’s M50 car crash.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was tragically killed when the car she was travelling in was involved in a crash with a lorry.
The woman received horrendous injuries and was killed instantly from the crash at 11:30am on Junction 5 of the M50 where the slip road exits for Finglas.
Images and videos quickly emerged on social media of footage that was filmed of the crash scene before emergency personnel reached the crash scene.
We pushed this article yesterday making people aware of the footage and asking them not to share it.
Gardai have followed up on our request and asked people to delete the footage and not share it on social media.
