Gardai in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a workplace accident.
It is understood that the man aged in his 40s was killed following an accident on a roadworks site on the R551 road between Ballylongford and Tarber.
Gardai say the Health and Safety Authority are currently investigating the incident.
