Gardaí in Co Monaghan have confirmed that they have recovered an ATM machine which was stolen from a petrol station in the North.
The stolen machine was apparently found stashed in a white transit van in Drumass in Inniskeen earlier this afternoon. Police in Newry say the cash machine was taken from a petrol station overnight, which resulted in a widescale investigation being undertaken.
The Gardaí say they have arrested a man after they chased three men who were in the van. Meanwhile the PSNI say they along with the Gardaí are currently searching for the other two assistants.
