Gardai are investigating an incident where a 15 year old girl was approached by the same car three times.
The girl had been training for a “couch to 5k” event in the Ballybofey area, Co Donegal.
On Tuesday around 6:45pm the teenager was jogging from Finn Park to The Beeches housing estate when a green car slowed down delibrately on separate occasions.
The area was deserted at that time, and the driver, a man in his mid twenties, drove through the area as the girl jogged alone.
The girl told her father, a local business man who passed the information on to the Gardai.
The make of the car is unknown, but the girl has stated that she thinks the driver was a foreign national.
An investigation is being carried to discover the identity of this man.
