
Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth have confirmed they have arrested a third teenager in connection with fire at a factory in he town over the weekend.
Gardaí say they arrested the 17 year old youth last night and he is currently being held at Dundalk garda station. Firefighters from the town had spent most of Sunday afternoon putting out the blaze which broke out at the Dawn paper factory in Donore Industrial Estate late on Saturday night. Gardaí say the factory has been destroyed as a result.
The third arrest comes after Gardaí arrested another two youths on Sunday morning, it is believed one the youths still remains in custody, whilst the other was released without charge.
