Gardaí in Dublin have reissued an appeal for information after a woman was stabbed in the city centre last week.
The woman, who was in her 40s, was seriously injured in the attack on School Street in Dublin 8 last Tuesday morning September 23rd, just before 8 o’clock. A man in his 40s was arrested a short time afterwards and has since been charged in connection with the attack.
Gardaí investigating the incident are keen to speak to any taxi drivers who were working in the area at the time. They are making a particular appeal to any taxi or hackney drivers who may have picked up a man in the vicinity of Marrowbone Lane James Street and brought him to Phibsboro.
The man in question is described as being around 5 foot 7 inches in height in his late 40s of stocky build with grey hair and a grey goatee beard, and was wearing dark clothing. Gardai are urging anyone who may have any information is asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station.
