Gardai are investigating an alleged assault by so-called “peadophile hunters” who confronted a man in Ballyfermott, Dublin over the weekend.
The group of people made a number of serious accusations against the man while recording it and posting a video of the confrontation on social media.
It’s alleged that the man was physically attacked by member(s) of the group during the confrontation but this hasn’t been confirmed by gardai at this stage.
In footage uploaded on social media the group can be seen kicking and punching the man who was forced to the ground.
Gardai say an investigation is underway.
