Gardai have issued an appeal for the public’s help after a homeless man was found beaten to death in Cork on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Timothy Hourihane, a former chef who had worked in top restaurants in the UK.
It’s understood that Mr. Hourihane later became homeless due to addiction problems.
His body was found near a burned out tent in the Mardyke Walk area of Cork city.
Other homeless people raised the alarm. Gardai are treating the death as a homicide for the time being.
