Gardai issue appeal regarding Raheny hit and run

Gardaí have issued an appeal for anyone with any information regarding to a hit and run near Raheny in Dublin last Saturday night, to come forward and contact them.

The incident happened on the Howth Road close to Raheny Village, outside the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, at approximately 10.30pm.

It is understood that 30-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car which then fled the scene.

The man was then taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is described as being in a stable condition. Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between 10.10pm and 10.45pm last Saturday night is asked to contact Raheny Garda station.
