Gardai in Co Offaly havd confirmed that they have issued a number of fines after breaking up a car meet over the weekend.
According to RTE News, Gardai were made aware of the meeting during a two hour checkpoint outside an Aldi car park in Tullamore.
Gardai say a number of on the spot fines were issued for a number offences including speeding.
They also say a number of vehicles were seized during the incident.
