Gardaí have issued a warning to the public after a fraudulent Facebook page was set up claiming to be the National Driver Licence Service.
The warning comes as the page is believed to be targeting the public.
Gardaí say the page requests that the public contact them via WhatsApp so they can renew their licence for the price of €200.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
