Gardai have launched an investigation after a house suffered extensive damage during a shooting incident in Ballinasloe, Galway, overnight.
It is understood that several bullets struck the porch and front door of the property in the Brackernagh area, which was occupied at the time.
Gardaí are asking for witnesses to contact Ballinasloe Garda Station on 090 – 9631890, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
