Gardai have launched an investigation after a man was left in a critical condition following an assault in the capital.
The incident happened on D’Olier Street, near the junction with Fleet Street, shortly after 2.30am on Sunday morning.
The victim, a male in his 20s, was rushed to St James’s Hospital for treatment.
