Gardai have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in Co. Cork overnight.
The incident happened in the Avenue De Rennes area of Mahon shortly before midnight.
It is understood that a group of males arrived at the property and discharged a firearm through the front door before fleeing on foot.
