Gardai have launched an investigation after a woman in her 30s was found dead inside an apartment in the Cabra area of Dublin on Sunday evening.
The woman, who was named as 33-year-old Amanda Carroll, died a violent death.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident. Investigators believe this man was known to the victim.
