Gardai have launched an investigation following the death of a woman in her 50s in an Irish county.
The victim was found with serious injuries inside a residence in the Cois Deel area of Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday evening.
She was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai believe that her death might be linked to an incident that happened in Limerick city earlier that day.
