Gardai have launched an investigation following the death of a woman in her 80s in the capital.
The deceased was found inside a residence on Seville Place, Dublin 1, at 11.30am on Wednesday morning. It is understood the woman’s death was violent.
A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
